TRIOLE™ – the way to the
Dynamic Data Center

IT decision-makers are confronted with challenges that are similar to trying to square a circle! Customers from within the company demand rapid adaptation of IT to business processes, error-free operation and optimum support. At the same time, the huge cost pressure on the individual departments means that a very critical eye is turned upon the charging of IT services. Calls to cut costs are the order of the day. The only way out is to go a different way.
The way to the Dynamic Data Center (DDC)

The Dynamic Data Center

In a DDC, every service can run on any system and be relocated between systems in a short time. The first step in this is to divorce the services from dedicated hardware platforms: virtualization. All hardware resources (servers and storage systems) are grouped in a pool, from which they can be used flexibly as required. The operation of virtual and real resources is largely automated. If resources fail or are in short supply corrective actions are initiated automatically: automation. Resources are automatically provided to services on the basis of predefined rules. These rules are based on the concrete business processes and resulting agreements with the users of the services and are specified in service level agreements.

TRIOLE – the Way to the Dynamic Data Center
The idea behind the Dynamic Data center may be visionary, but our implementation strategy TRIOLE is very concrete. TRIOLE™ is Fujitsu Siemens Computers strategy to develop products, solutions and services that support the creation of a DDC. TRIOLE™ is based on three core technologies virtualization, automation and integration, all contributing to the common goal of an optimized IT infrastructure providing increased business efficiency, agility and continuity. TRIOLE delivers a dynamic IT infrastructure that complements the new service-oriented software architectures (SOA) of leading application vendors. For example the dynamic infrastructure solution FlexFrame ideally supports SAP’s Netweaver concept. More concrete and available solutions you will find in the white paper on this page.

TRIOLE™ is a global strategy including Fujitsu (Japan and Asia Pacific), Fujitsu Computer Systems (North America), Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Fujitsu Services (EMEA) and partners. TRIOLE™ is part of Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ overall strategy of Business Critical Computing.
